One of
potential hazard in the workplace can cause health problems is caused by dust. This is can cause an Acute
respiratory tract infection. One of job that has a risk of getting Acute respiratory tract infection disorders are
furniture workers. This is because around 10 to 13% of the wood sawing and sanding will be in the form of
wood dust. So that the workers are always exposed to wood dust which can interfere with breathing. The purpose
of this study aimed to determine the effect of occupational factors and environmental factor on symptoms of
Acute respiratory infections in furniture workers. This research method uses quantitative methods with
observational and cross-sectional research using logistic regression test analysis. The population in this study
were workers in the industry on Semarang street City of Surabaya with a total of 57 people, with a sample of 37
furniture workers. The results of this study indicate that most workers have symptoms of Acute respiratory tract
infection. This happens because it is influenced by occupational factors such as the length of work every day and
the work period of workers who are mostly more than 5 years. Therefore, many factors influence the occurrence
of Acute respiratory tract infection symptoms in furniture industry workers. The use of natural ingredients such as seaweed Kappahycus alvarezii requires pretreatment before it is applied. Pretreatment of seaweed Kappaphycus alvarezii flour was carried out using hydrolyzing enzyme called cellulase. The cellulase (EC 3.2.1.4) is an enzyme which could hydrolyze cellulose polymers thereby breaking β- 1,4 glycosidic bond into oligosaccharide and simple sugars. Meanwhile the cell wall of seaweed could as well be degraded partially by cellulase followed by releasing hydrocolloid polymers (carrageenan) from the inner layer of seaweed cell wall. The aims of this study is to determine the effect of enzymatic pretreatment on seaweed so that it can be useful for further research as one of the promising component in wound dressing. The result showed that the reducing sugar decreased in content of 0.5 mg /ml after enzymatic modification at 0.5 hours incubation time. This
condition will affect the social status of mothers, disorders of self-confidence, comfort disorders and even have
the intention to commit suicide and disruption of child development both intelligence, social and psychology

(Hansotte, Payne, & Babich, 2017). A preliminary study conducted in March 2018 in the Wonokoromo sub-
district found that 45% of postpartum mothers had postpartum depression at mild and moderate levels. The

purpose of this study was to determine the differences in the degree of postpartum depression between the
control group and the treatment group after being given a double D method (dhikr and prayer). This type of
research is quasi-experimental quantitative analysis with EDPS questionnaire instrument (Edinburgh Depression
Postpartum Scale). The sampling used was purposive sampling by determining the inclusion criteria which
amounted to 84 respondents by dividing 42 respondents as the control group and 42 respondents as the treatment
group. Analysis test used was Mann Whitney with a value of p <0.005. The results of the analysis test
obtained p = 0.001 which means that there was a significant difference in the level of postpartum depression
between the control group and the treatment group after being given a double D method (dzikir and prayer) in
postpartum mothers in the letting go phase (day 7). Conclusion: The double D method was effective in reducing
postpartum depression in postpartum mothers in the letting go phase.
Siti Maimunah, Elly Dwi Masita Copyright (c) 2020 https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0 https://conferences.unusa.ac.id/index.php/SIHC19/article/view/531 Mon, 29 Jun 2020 00:00:00 +0000 The relationship of low birth weight with acute respiratory infection (ari) on toddlers in telaga health care clinic Of gorontalo distric https://conferences.unusa.ac.id/index.php/SIHC19/article/view/532
ARI is The most common Disease in Toddlers.
